A versatile massage modality
Depending on the therapist's training and your goals, a session may include ACE Massage Cupping, MediCupping, Gua Sha, or fire cupping techniques. Cups may remain in place briefly or move across an area with massage oil.
Cupping is often combined with medical, deep tissue, or sports massage when a different approach to stubborn tension would be useful.
What to expect
Your therapist will explain the technique, discuss pressure and comfort, and select an approach suited to your needs. Temporary circular marks or skin discoloration can occur after cupping, and your therapist will review what to expect before beginning.
