Rockwall Medical Massage

Reflexology

Focused care through the feet, hands, and ears.

With origins in Traditional Chinese Medicine, reflexology applies measured pressure to specific areas of the feet, hands, or ears as part of a calming, whole-body wellness session.

A focused form of bodywork

Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and shaped by later reflexology practices, this modality uses maps that associate areas of the feet, hands, and ears with regions and systems throughout the body. The work can be deeply relaxing and useful for noticing patterns of tenderness or tension.

It can stand alone or be incorporated into a broader massage session when focused work on the feet, hands, or ears supports your goals.

What to expect

You can remain clothed for a reflexology session, with only the area being worked uncovered as needed. Your therapist uses thumb, finger, and hand pressure at a pace and intensity suited to your comfort.

Massage therapy is complementary care and does not replace diagnosis or treatment from a physician.
